Kasia Justka
invisible inaudible

Kasia Justka is a polish multimedia artist based in Berlin. Her work capitalizes on her obsessions with the medium of electricity and weird sounds- Her art can be seen as invocations to the vast power inherent within electronic systems and networks…With this conceptual frame in mind Kasia fashions a dynamic order and form from primitive entropy. Using light, sound and objects as her tools, her Intuitive and analogue based performances have led to collaborations with musicians, theaters, galleries, clubs, fashion designers, artists and a whole host of other respected luminaries working in different disciplines within the creative spectrum. Among these are: Electrovision London, Noise=Noise,Transvisualia, Free Form Festival, CynetArt_08, Unsound Festival, Piksel in Norway, Warsaw Electronic Festival, gallery Zacheta, WRO, TR Warszawa, Volksbuhne and others. Finding order in chaos.

INVISIBLE INAUDIBLE

Its an audio-visual performance, which should happen in the darkness. All about what we cant see and what we cant hear. Im using prerecorded takes, which i took in a bat park in poland in an old german bunker playing live using free software, best to take all room and use multiprojections… Im also using self made circuits for playing with ultrasounds and sending infrared signals. The goal is to build atmosphere which i had during spending time in cave full of mother bats. Playing inaudible sounds and invisible images.Get the silent darkness scream.

ALESSANDRA ERAMO

Solo for Voice and Electronics
«This is evocative, lyrical art, created by a very gifted miniaturist“
The Sound Projector

«The illegitimate child of the early Moondog“
Skug Magazine

Alessandra Eramo is a Berlin-based vocalist, sound artist and composer. Her artistic work explores the relationship and tension between vocality and writing, using sound, performance, installation, drawing and video. The voice is her main instrument, which she radically extends to discover a personal visceral and archaic language, exploring the phonetics, the physicality and trance-like states. For her Solo for Voice and Electronics she creates a musique concrète collage to move beyond the sound in the more visceral layers of poetic expression. With her distinctive extended vocal techniques and sound poetry eruptions she mixes field recordings and a dynamic use of theremin, tape recorders and contact microphones. Gaining international recognition, she has performed and exhibited widely in Europe, Turkey, USA and Canada, among others, at: Museum FLUXUS+ Potsdam, Torna Istanbul, Deutschlandradio Kultur, Galerie Haus am Lützowplatz Berlin, Interpenetration Festival Graz, Liverpool Biennial 2012, Lyd & Litteratur Festival Aarhus, Roulette New York, Sonic Circuits Festival Washington DC, Italian Pavilion in the World – 54th Venice Biennale. Her compositions are released on several international experimental music labels. She is co- founder of the label Corvo Records vinyl & sound art production. Past and present projects in collaboration include musicians, composers, performers and poets as Gabriel Dharmoo, SJ Fowler, Monica Gentile, Jassem Hindi, Seiji Morimoto, Gino Robair, Ingrid Schmoliner, Doug Van Nort, Marta Zapparoli.

KRIS LIMBACH

Kris Limbach (born in 1978) is a sound artist residing in Berlin. In his sound art work he uses film-editing techniques, prepared drums, tape manipulation , no input mixing and a vast amount of raw and processed fieldrecordings. He released on labels such as Richard Garets´s Contour Editions, Staaltape, Modisti and Agxivatein. He is part of
the audiovisual trio Panoptik and co-curates, together with Pierce Warnecke, the emitter micro label and emitter micro festival, a biennial experimental sound Festival in Berlin. His latest Film project «Music for dysfunctional aiports», a meditative piece about the architecture of crisis and desperation was recently premiered at the Media Art Festival Leeuwarden. In the summer of 2015 he ll produce his next feature-length film project with only moonlit images in the south of spain.

Kris Limbachs performance for film and tapes is a confound of experimental fieldrecording based sound and projected film images which reveal themselves as everyday experiences and memories of journeys while the artist alters their reality and notion of time. Like a primitive arte povera of cinema Kris Limbach performs an irreversible and unrepeatable movie.

MARTI  A/V Experiments VII

SINOISTESIA deals with the beauty of visual noise, feedback, electricity and light. Live performance where audio produce image and image produce audio.

Marti seems convinced that ‘the mystery’ is before us, and he shows to us. His creative discoveries tell us in some way, that ‘we can start from here something that will take us very far.»When he wants is an irreverent educated and / or make beautiful things and / or show you the beauty of what others call ‘ugly’. The pleasure he experiences is perceived and feels almost like an act of generosity that invites you to attend. Marti is one of those artists who in their artistic approach is much of the message. He is the surprise «
